​​​​SKYGOD Family presents renowned Visual Artist and MC, King Topaz, who hails From Queens, NYC. Topaz is the gritty street scrawling alter ego of Skygod’s flagship recording artist Lordroc, also an honorary member of the Underground Army Special Forces,
He is also an acclaimed graffiti artist and former resident of the world famous 5 Pointz building.
In recent years he has been featured in a music video for DJ Premier and Common, has painted live at Summerstage events in Queens and the Bronx as well as the Panorama Festival and participates regularly in many events and projects in the metropolitan area and abroad.

His artwork has appeared in HBOs Banksy documentary, the movie Now You See Me, NBCs The Profit, MTV Made, a Mc Donald’s ad campaign and music videos by Matisyahu, Ill Bill, Sean Price and Statik Selektah amongst others.
He’s also been commissioned for work by Sony Records, Smirnoff, Captain Morgan, Bulliet Bourban, Under Armour , JVC Headphones, Jacob and Co. Watches, etc.
As a recording artist Topaz has worked with other professionals such as DJ Marley Marl, Capone of CNN, Royal Flush, DJ JS-1 Rocksteady Crew, Young Zee of the Outsidaz, Spit Gemz, Musik G and the Underground Army, etc.
In addition to touring random spots around the country, including major cities like Miami and LA, King Topaz has performed in most of the major Hip hop spots in NYC including Limelight, Wetlands, SOBs, Club Pyramid, Downtime, Speed, Don Hills concert hall, etc. His first album release party was co hosted by Slick Rick and DJed by Mister Cee.
His music has been featured on Hot 97, Power 105 NYC, WBLS, MTV, VH1, BET, Comedy Central, UPN, The Wendy Williams Show, Sirius XM, Telemundo, Video Music Box, etc.
He’s also been featured in news publications and books such as the New York Times, NY Daily News, NY Newsday, NY1, the Villiage Voice, Insomniac Magazine, Connex List, Flashbacks, Graffiti World, Graffiti Hall of Fame, etc.
As a multimedia audio engineer and video producer he has worked with G Unit, NORE, Ralph Mcdaniels, Mr. Magic, Rahzel of the Roots, MC Craig G, Sadat X, Smoothe the Hustler, Smooth B of Nice and Smooth, Maino, etc.
Topaz holds 3 Underground Music Awards in NYC. One for BEST NEW ARTIST and 2 for BEST INDIE LABEL for his imprint SKYGOD.
His ROCCOLYPSE music video reached the #1 spot on the CVC R&B/Rap video chart and hit #2 on the B&C top 50 chart.
The Album Lordroc, E2 to Bass (SKYGOD/Select-O-Hits) was the most added Hip hop album at the time of its release according to CMJ (college music journal).
